Part 1: Introduction
Today, (7/2/2022) the Dual Optics team has started our quest to work with our first zoo! Throughout this post we will be taking you through the steps, obstacles, and, hopefully, the final product of reaching out to a zoo in hopes of getting them some incredible photos, and us the chance to learn about the animals and people who care for them.
Part 2: The initial reach out
Like all things, it is hard for a small photography team to get the attention of companies and organizations. With that being said, it just requires us to reach out first and make sure that we can find a mutually beneficial agreement that both parties are more than happy to accept. Our first order of action is to reach out to the zoo on social media and present them with some work we have done before. If the zoo sees our work as quality and beneficial, we can hope to hear back with their terms. This is currently where we are and will update this blog post as events continue to unfold. Attached below this text are some photos we have taken before as a passion project. We hope that you (and hope even more that an individual from the zoo) will find the photos either cute, professional, or both!
